Four years after Sex and the City went off the air, the fabulous four are back with its sequel. The highly anticipated movie has finally hit the red carpet at Odeon Leicester Square on May 27, 2010 in London, England. And with it, it brings the fashionistas that make up its cast, and stars who'll wear just about anything to shine at this big event.
The 45-year-old, Sarah Jessica Parker, who reprises her role as New York columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the eagerly anticipated sequel, looked absolutely adorable in Alexander McQueen Spring 2008 black tulle and lace bustier gown with a show-stopping hat by Philip Treacy and black lace platform court shoes in London's Leicester Square. Parker finished the look with a black armband accented with Fred Leighton diamond clips, perhaps her way of paying tribute to late fashion designer McQueen.
Liverpool-born Kim Cattrall, 53, who plays publicist Samantha Jones, went for classic old school Hollywood glamour in a sexy black 90s Thierry Mugler corseted wrap gown accented with a small silver Fred Leighton brooch. She recreated her New York premiere marcelled hair, and it fits in with the Old Hollywood style she's been doing perfectly.
Kristin Davis, 45, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt, wore a gorgeous gold vintage Norman Norell halter-neck gown, which she teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, a sparkling Judith Leiber gold clutch and drop earrings.
Cynthia Nixon, 44, who portrays lawyer Miranda Hobbes, wore a floor-length turquoise one-shoulder Narciso Rodriguez dress and had changed her hair with extensions, which was just perfect, along with the barely there make-up and pretty drop earrings .
Kylie Minogue, Alexandra Burke, Amanda Holden, Rachel Stevens, Kelly Brook, Tess Daly and Emma Bunton were among the celebrities who stepped out for the premiere.
